How to express these feelings I feel is a laden task no pen shall reveal of all throughout history, no poet or prose could grasp the true meaning, of how deep this love goes Our souls intertwined in a destiny so strong That no army could scathe, or no evil could wrong Every waking moment, is a priceless moment spent from an all enchanting kiss, to a kiss of all enchantment For it pains me to love with a heart made of stone but slowly it softens with the touch of your own and if so it beats with a will strong as mine the key to unlock what’s behind you shall find

So the walls that I build were not meant to climb but stood with intentions to leave them behind those that deceive, those that betray those that are blind to the path of fate’s way So I may be driven with endless ambitions but what you are given should foster your visions never to quit, never to fold never believing the can’ts you are told So this life that I lead may never please all and the roads that I choose may cause me to fall they may twist, they may wind, they might even blind but what counts is ahead and not what’s behind

And so your life begins through trials, through tribulations and unknown anticipations the road must start from within But life will not be straight its path will wind, its path will veer sometimes without the wheel to steer so this rely on fate There will be those unkind their words and deeds are broken wings stricken with earthbound jealousies ignore them all and fly

I’ve seen the sunset fall Beneath the ocean’s tide And rise behind the desert sky Of mountains far and wide I’ve felt the softest rain Fall from the fields of France Cascading down like crystal dreams Upon the leaves they’d dance Of all these thoughts and memories Of beauty, love, and grace I never dreamt I’d see much more And then I saw your face So here I kneel before your eyes To win your heart for life Upon your words my heart is yours If you will be my wife

Where have I come to this past into now what once brought a smile has now left a frown I walk on a road that aimlessly twists endlessly searching for fate’s path I missed Hope starts to fade my stride turns to crawl torn shattered dreams how far will I fall A far-distant voice raises this weary head my eyes focus in on this faint form ahead The figure draws near its sight still unknown and before I can speak this vision is shown She stands there before me with hope in her eyes then lifts me unto her untangling my pride “Where have you been?” her tender voice cries our road’s over there and yet here you lie Come, let’s go home my love gone astray too long you’ve been gone I’ll help lead the way Back onto fate’s ground we walk hand in hand my fears chased away my smile back again

To sleep perchance to dream to dream is all I pray before the nightfall fades before the break of day Another listless stir another hour gone no longer wait to rest instead I wait for dawn Father time’s forgotten for time to pass this slow now tomorrow beckons now my eyes will close

Stand up and rise above… the hate that we breed the fear that we feed the lives that we lead for there is a need To find the lost word “love” Our reality is blind… to where courage goes to what kindness shows to cruelty we pose these daily dealt blows Tear our hearts from our minds Recall what our world’s seen and what it’s been through so what can we do? One question rings true Can life become the dream?

As close as we are today Let’s pray we’ll be tomorrow but our memories are here to stay and serve to cast away all sorrows Looking forth to future years as scary as it seems our present thoughts of hopes and fears will turn to hopes and dreams So rise and face what’s yet to come embrace it with open arms for no one can amount the sum of a love as great as ours
